The date is set. We meet on Monday 7 September at 16:30 outside the Office for Foreigners of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Office, ul. Chmielna 74/76 in Gdańsk. The protest runs until 18:00.

We are demanding efficient residence legalisation proceedings, realistic deadlines and the restoration of protection against excessive delay.

The assembly has been notified and appears in the register of public assemblies of the Gdańsk City Office. The protest is lawful.

Leaflets for printing

Each leaflet fits on a single A4 page and is entirely in one language — pick the one spoken by the people you want to reach.

The colour version looks better on screen and in colour printing. The black-and-white one is made for cheap printing and photocopiers.

Where to put it up

Anywhere people waiting for a decision are likely to be: at work, in an Eastern European grocery, at a clinic, on campus, in a language school, at the hairdresser’s, in a service point. If you run a venue or a group — put one up and tell others.

The leaflet carries this site’s address, our e-mail and Telegram, so anyone who sees it will find the demands and the rules of participation.

Rules for taking part in the assembly

We want everyone to feel safe and to be treated with respect.

  • No flags. We do not bring flags of any kind — state, national, regional, party or organisational.
  • No hatred or discrimination. We respect everyone regardless of origin, nationality, language, religion, gender or any other characteristic.
  • Everyone may speak their own language. Please prepare the main text of banners in Polish, or add a Polish translation.
  • We act peacefully. No aggression, threats, provocation or insults directed at others.
  • We do not bring weapons, pyrotechnics or other dangerous objects.
  • We do not consume alcohol or intoxicants, and we do not take part in the assembly under their influence.
  • We look after safety. We do not block entrances, passageways or the road, and we follow the instructions of the organisers and the emergency services.

Anyone breaking these rules may be asked to stop the behaviour in question or to leave the assembly.
