About us

Tu Żyjemy is a grassroots civic initiative of residents of Poland. We currently work towards efficient and transparent residence legalisation procedures. We combine residents’ experiences with data analysis, propose changes and share knowledge that helps people take action.

How we work

We collect the experiences of people affected by public problems and compare them with official data and court judgments. We prepare petitions, propose solutions and organise joint action. We value verifiable sources, transparency and residents’ participation. We share analyses, guides and document templates so that the knowledge we gain can help others take action in their own cases.

Our actions, documents and institutional responses are collected in Publications.

What we work on now

Improving residence legalisation procedures is our first initiative. We seek predictable timelines, individual assessment of each application and open data on administrative performance. We want residents of Poland to be able to plan their future and receive decisions in a reasonable time.
